We had a lot of rain last night. A pity the thunder and lightning was so scarey. I kept watching a big hoop pine on the boundary of my place, hoping it would not get hit as there were clearly some ground strikes not far away. But I thought there was a lot higher stuff around. Sadly before sunrise a tree on the top of Mt Warning was struck and fell and killed a man. It is the place where the first sunrise in Australia can be seen. But also a very isolated high place and dangerous in bad weather.

I have identified the single and poly light yellow as CHARDONNAY. Today both plants each had good doubles.

KATHY ROOD had another double
Also FFOS on sdlg I bought as 'Dixieland Band X Jan's Twister'. It didn't get to open properly and was the only bud.
