Polly, I would think they would bloom for you. I do fine with them in zone 5a, which means I'm north of you (right? Or am I confused?) Colder than you, at any rate. Like Neal said, I get foliage in the spring, along with daffodils and hyacinths. Then the foliage completely disappears, and the space is just empty and covered with neighboring plants for most of the summer. Right about mid-August, a bloom stalk shoots up, 6-12 inches a DAY, and they start blooming on the 2nd or 3rd day.

Wondering if you have something different, if it sends leaves in the fall instead. You'd think it would have gotten it's seasons straightened out after a couple of years, if it was just confused by changing zones. LOL
