Guess it's my turn now. I am not the incredible photographer that Sue is, and I just ran around pointing and clicking without giving a thought to picking off the dead blooms or shaking some of the water drops off -- but hopefully you'll get a feel for these beautiful flowers anyway.
First off, my garden shot -- can you pick out Sue and her mom?
Bill Maryott took us inside his greenhouse and talked about how he hybridizes and the incredible schedule he keeps to. I can't believe it, but he said he only refrigerates his seedlings for TWO WEEKS and then plants them to keep to his schedule!
And a couple of his seedlings in the greenhouse. Look at the size of the first -- that's his hand holding the bloom! And I really love the applique eye patterns he's working on.
Here's a seedling I'm very impressed with (and I think Sue has a picture of it too) - Seedling #G1763N. This seedling impressed me so much because it was getting the same amount of rainfall as all the others and yet it didn't waterspot like all the other darks did! And I really loved the deep plum burgundy color. I think he said he may introduce it soon.
