Hi Woofie,

It looks like a variety of Salvia farinacea. The specific variety would be hard to determine since there are several that have the white calyces paired with blue flowers such as 'Strata' and 'Reference.' This species is more of a bee plant than a hummingbird plant but they will use it on occasion. Although technically a perennial (zones 8-10) most of the country uses this species as an "annual."
