Bad news here. My house in Shelburne Falls is close to the Deerfield River. I went over to see, the tenant has been evacuated and a power line is down right by my house. The river is almost to the street of my house and wont crest till tomorrow. The river is moving very fast and is 3 times normal width with flooding on both sides of the river. The water is flowing OVER the Bridge of Flowers!! I'm hoping for just basement flooding. Of course, since there has never been flooding before and this is a turn of the century house, I have no flood insurance.
