Echinacea I think can be transplanted spring summer and fall. I have transplanted them in the spring, turned around and moved some more in July and then some more in September. As long as, they are kept moist not wet, and have time to put down more good roots before frost, they will be fine. The reason I moved so many is cause two hears ago I was,'t deadheading as I should have. Those monsters had more babies than I could shake a stick at and you can only give so many away........................... Hilarious!
