Steve, I have a tall artemesia in front of Dublin Bay and it is a wonderful combination. my Rosarium Utersen has silver mound artemesia in the same bed and they are good partners also. Amazingly, supervista bubblegum petunias hold up well in the heat and they fill in nicely around bare rose legs.
I bought both Dublin Bay and Rosarium (sold as Seminole Wind) from Chamblees. No need to coddle those roses. I have a couple of the Fairytale roses growing with tiny SDB iris. Those roses have bloomed the entire summer, and because I was afraid of rotting the iris, I didn't water that area much.
I think you should just go ahead and order one of each. Big Grin But wait until Friday, let me get my little order in first. Whistling
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
