I think Verbena likes it hot. If it has revived I'd say you're off to a good start. I don't think I'd have rescued it, although I keep trying to keep this one particular baby bird in it's nest until it should be out. Not having much luck there. I put it back in tonight again, and it fell right back out. The nest is in the horse stall so I do try to help. It has no feathers, so I know it isn't ready to face the world yet.
