I wonder if there is monetary value in use of Goldenrod? Is it sold for tea such as chicory is sold and added to coffee (yum, Cafe Le Monde!)
I know that folks who had a certain Acacia tree on their property in Nor Cal would sell the branches with yellow blooms. People would trim the tree for near free just for the blooms. Apparently they used the blooms to "set" fragrance in perfumes.
“Don't give up too quickly"... unknown, I heard it somewhere.
