We've all been busy saving seeds from our favorite plants, or taking advantage of purchasing seeds from our favorite supplier.

How do you store your seeds? Do you have any tips for keeping your seeds organized?

I generally keep my saved seeds in small containers that are used for craft supplies. I use my p-touch to label each lid. I keep my purchased seeds in their original envelopes, so I have the sowing instructions handy. The seed envelopes are just stored in some long, narrow boxes that hold the envelopes upright. I have one box for flower seeds, one for veggies, and one for herbs.

During the winter, when I can't get in the garden, I usually sort through the boxes to make sure I have what I will need for the spring. I've tried to keep an excel spreadsheet up to date with my seed varieties, as well as some other germination information. It's a good winter-day activity to help keep me organized.

Hope you'll share your methods and ideas here.
