I grow it too, and while at Tower Hill this spring, I tried to smell theirs and It was like mine, not a strong scent of rose, but a hint of something nice. No matter as it is a stunning Narcissus. I bought them from Buggy crazy some years ago and this is what she listed about it.

6 for 6.00 FRAGRANT ROSE

Said to be a slightly fragrant daffodil having pure white petals and a reddish pink cup with a greenish white eye. Fragrant Rose was bred in Northern Ireland, said to have the fragrance of the rose, 'Tropicana', this may be true, but was undetectable by our noses. It is a lovely pink cup daffodil, large, outfacing blooms an sturdy stems are a delight for the eyes, just don't expect a delight for the nose.

Full sun-part shade
Zones: Zone 4 - 8

Late Bloomer
