Actually, I've found that with the 3 different feeders I've got, doesn't matter what color the liquid is or what color the flowers are. Wasps & bees will find it regardless. I've got 1 that's a copper feeder w/just red flowers (http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/...), one that's just red & clear (http://www.firstnature.net/pro...), and a standard Perky pet & I was dismayed to see the muddaubers taking over each time I filled them. Bleh!!
