Over here whe have between 27- 35 rain per year , so quit a lott.However my plants are standing stored in my greenhousse for 6-7 months a year. My well never getts frozen , so i can give also water in the winter if needed by an electric pump.
I placed a watercontainer in the greenhousse so the water isnt to cold when the plants are watered.
