I need those mountains, or those memories from time to time. Heck, I remember once I left here at 5:am and headed to my old mountain stomping grounds. Three hours later I took a short detour and ended up pulling in Vic's driveway, unannounced (something I never do). Freaked her and Hankster out but ended up staying half a day or so and coming home. I never made it the rest of the way; on that day they were my mountains, giving me a break, some refreshment, and an impetus to keep on keepin' on.

Sure am glad you got a taste of "the real", Sharon! And can'tcha just smell the wood smoke in the air real soon! Yay!
