No, the AHS has the year that the daylily name was reserved, the hybridizer sites are the year it was introduced. They often reserve a name and have a time frame in which to register a daylily with that name or it expires so it can now be open for someone to use the name.
We have updated the ATP entry details to read "Year of Registration or Introduction" so either is fine, although I think for the most part we have been entering what's on the AHS registration page.
