It's an aster, certainly. If it were growing here, I'd say it is Heath Aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides), also known as Many-flowered Aster. But, there are a multitude of white flowered aster species in North America and no doubt several species in Georgia that I've never seen or even heard of.
