I hate weatherpeople. If there's reincarnation, I want to come back as a meteorologist. That way I can be wrong about 100% of the time and still make bookoo bucks. Seriously. I spent about 4 hours yesterday watering because there was no rain/snow in the forecast for the rest of the month.
It's raining today. BLEH. I'm not one for complaining about the rain, but I had left a ton of stuff outside in my backyard because it wasn't supposed to precipitate in any way.. and DH & I had to hurriedly cover it with tarps so they wouldn't get ruined.
Oh well.
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but found my camera this morning & took some quick pix. Almost none of the new roses I got from Burling this year made it due to drought & high heat.
They were just too tender to survive. I lost almost 100% of RU's roses too.
Too small/too tender. I need more robust roses for my ineptitude.
California Dreamin' (love this rose.. wish the plant was bigger, but the blooms.. wow!)
Brilliant Veranda
Hawkeye Belle (not one for pink roses, but man is this pretty!)
Orchid Masterpiece
Paradise
Solitude
Winter Magic (nice mini)
Mardi Gras in the front, Blue Bayou in the back, and my DH's side.
