Thanks Michele,
I'm going to try to get some BAP if it's not too expensive. A little bit is all I need. I have about 1500 pots but would only use it on a very select few.
You said that some use an eye dropper to put it around the base,so I would guess that even with it diluted to such a small amount, it only takes a very small amount to work??? Wow, just think how strong it is! I'm not a "green" grower by any means but I am very aware of my part in the great scheme of things. I do my best not to use chemicals on bugs until they just leave me with no choice. As much as I dispise handling tomato worms, I still hand pick them off my few plants every summer. UGH!!! I hate them things. And would you believe it, if they manage to sneak by me and get really big, I take them away from my plants and put them out in the woods. Hey, everything needs a chance to reproduce!
Does anyone have Forever Red or a seedling of it? I broke a crown off when I was repotting a seedling of it. I had nothing but a few roots and a crown. I replanted it anyway and 4 little plants emerged from the sides of the crown. This happened on 2 different pots of this plant. I didn't know it had this trait. I wonder if anyone else has seen this. The seedlings were two different crosses with "FR" as one of the parents. It did this before I started using Alfalfa pellets.
Thanks everyone, Mona
