The one on mydaylilies.com is $24 and on Bentleygardens is $30. I also forgot to add that it doesn't work on all daylilies. I'm sure Fred will comment because he has used it.
That is another way that daylilies multiply. Sort of like when you cut a limb off a bush or tree and then more emerge from the side of the cut limb. There was some older lady that sold daylilies; she may have hybridized (can't remember where or who) but she would show people how to make their daylilies increase and she would step on the daylily and break the fans. Sometimes if you break a fan off and it has just a little bit of the brown from the crown left on it it will take root if planted (sometimes it will just rot). If you divide a daylily and a fan has only a small portion of crown and just a tiny piece of root it can be replanted and survive sometimes. Daylilies are tough to kill most of the time
