We probably get half the growing season here and not the same temperatures, I think mine didn't go above 2 feet. I nearly lost it after our last hard winter, it was in a pot in a greenhouse but it started to grow around mid summer. I got 6 seeds and one of those has grown too, I'm bringing it inside this winter.
