I have no photos of it, it is a pure purple ( going from memory) which apparently at the time, was not all that common. The story is that my grandfather was hybridizing daylilies and TB Iris and had a large greenhouse. One night, shortly before he was ready to introduce & register his first ones, the greenhouse caught fire. It was assumed to be arson. This iris is the only one he was able to save. In a few years, hopefully I will be able to get all the information I need on it, and will register it then. You are correct, my family would love to have that done. Hopefully it will bloom next spring and I will be able to post some photos then. It has just been the "family iris" for so long. I also know my cousins would love to have some, so I am crossing my fingers that it will increase well over the next few years also. ~Jan
