Thanks, everyone for your comments. All of the seedlings out of BORN TO RUN X LARRY'S OBSESSION were quite nice and all rebloomed. The number 2 seedling has that amazing edge which is not flat like a pie crust, but more bubbly, like popcorn, Amazingly it would rarely hang, but the edge was so heavy that the bloom didn't always open flat. I am anxious to see how they all perform next year. I think my favorite of this cross is the number 4 seedling. I love the contrast between the dark red and the really white edge. I love daylilies that have more than one color - guess I like the contrast. I broke my ankle pretty badly this fall and wasn't able to be in the garden for almost nine weeks. This week was ths first time since early Sept, that I have been out there and that was with a walker. Consequently seedlings that I wanted to move didn't get moved and seedlings thst should have been composted are still growing. I guess they will all get a second chance next year.

Mona, this was their first year to bloom. It takes about a year and a half to get bloom for me. I usually plant in January and will have bloom in June the following year. Wish I could get bloom in nine or ten months!

Lyle, you have some nice intense red seedlings.
