has anyone considered spraying the wood with an em product produced by a company like scdprobiotics or teraganix to accelerate the decomposition of the wood? the microbes thrive in an anaerobic environment, so covering the whole thing with soil would seem to make them very happy & allow them to ferment the outer layers of the the wood rather quickly..
