Interesting formula! Our first measureable snowfall came before Halloween! In the 18 years we have lived here we have only had measureable snow before Thanksgiving once, that was last year. Now we have had 3 more days with the ground covered. Yesterday I attempted some flower bed cleaning, it didn't last long with the cold wind even with the sun trying to shine through the clouds.

Meanwhile, I'm working on those buckets of apples, so far putting some in the freezer and making apple butter. Applesauce is next.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
