Glad so many people have found my idea helpful! I used to have a couple of cardboard boxes stacked on top of my bookcase, full of seeds, and I could never put my hands on the ones I wanted quickly. This has really solved that problem! It has really cut down on buying seeds I already have, too.

I also have notebooks with paper, graph paper, and a few pocket folders that color co-ordinate with these boxes. I keep one notebook with records of what I bought, from whom, where I planted it, etc. for flowers and ornamentals (pink, to match the seed box), and one for vegetables and edibles (blue, since I couldn't find a green one LOL). It is great to keep all those invoices, tags, and printed information about my orders in one place! I refer back to it often when adding plants to the database.
