Another favorite is B. 'Tea Rose'. This one seems to bloom constantly. The older plants get straggly but it is so easy to trim and when you snip off a stem, stick it in water, and zippo, you have another plant in a few weeks.
This one is a mystery. The Begonia Society calls it an "Angel Wing Cane Like Begonia" . When I first began to sell it I wanted to be sure what to tell my customers it was, so I ask the experts. They were a bit "iffy" and rightfully so, without seeing the actual plant but they said I would be safe calling it what they suggested. So. I have been selling it as that and so far no one has found another name for it. I never want to mislead anyone when it comes to starter plants, so I always double check the names. Sometimes the tags get switched in a large facility that sells in large quantities or they have no tags at all.
This one had no tag at all.
Now it at least has some identity.
Here is a picture of this big girl. I keep cutting her back but she keeps on growing like a weed.
I have never seen a flower on her. They are not exactly great bloomers, but the foliage is beautiful. The burgundy under leaf is outstanding.
