I have found small ground covers to look real good and the Stepables web sight has a lot to choose from.
I have not ordered from them some of out local stores carry them.
A lot of sedum are easy and are low. Like dragons blood , angelina, things with creeper in the name.

Looking forward to seeing some of your creations.
