Well my perennial garden got a little out of hand last summer, my big misteak was platning a tomato vine to run up the trellis. It did not go up it went out for eight feet and took over. I bought some coneflowers that didn't do too well, and my burgendy rudbeckia was brown.
I want to dig up the purple coneflower bush and the black eyed susan and have mostly coneflowers and rudbeckia and perhaps some Lorraine sunshine (false sunflowers) also I would like some different coreopsis as a low border plant across the front or maybe just go with some calendula's, I have seed for the kind that look like little tiny cactus dahlia. I have mostly butterfly bushes down the back fence and I would like to plant the large coneflowers between the butterfly bushes and maybe other plants that attract butterflies and birds.
