I used to have shade where the ajuga is,there were 5 trees on that west hill,not Any more..Soo it used to get shade..I water and thats the only thing that probly saves it .Actually it does pretty well considering,this past summers drought was hard on it.Soon as it started raining agin it perked right up. I think winter is harder on it than Summer sun. I have way too much of it anyway.... Rolling on the floor laughing So Remember that Everyone,I can send lots of it....I do keep it out of my Beds as much as I can,I cut the blooms off after they open,before it sets seed.

Janice,we have the front 3 acres of a very large woods,its a pie shaped,lots of road frontage,it is kind of a bowl,we catch all the run off,into our creek that goes into a smalll ravine.
