i would just leave them in the pot if you have the space. i have found that you lose time when they are started bare root with most of the soil removed from the root zone. i just put mine in the house or under the patio. i think i am bring everything inside this year though. i have many of them that are poised to bloom and i don't want to risk any tips getting fried from the cold. i'd rather just move them in soon and not play the in-N-out game on very cold nights. i don't subject them to a dark room either.
