Thank you Tee for yet another wonderful article.

I was lucky enough to grow up with the entire array of citrus "as you step out the door"; along with avocado, mango, guava & coconuts. As kids we never lacked for a snack while we were out playing. If we got hungry there was no need to go home, we just grabbed something off a tree. Then washed the sticky off in the river. What a life!
I can tell people about calomundin. It is THE most sour thing you can possibly imagine. HOWEVER, some sugar or honey & it's TO DIE FOR! The flavor can't be described really. It will also take the place of lemon or lime if you desire. The fruit is small, about 1 1/2" round with very thin skin thinner than tangerine & almost no pith. You can put it all in a food processor (minus seeds) & put it into cakes, icings etc... It makes a wonderful preserve too.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
