Nice looking Janice
The photo of spent alliums is from the net. As far as I can tell the alliums look to be the same or near the height of the phlox.
Hust thinking out loud here,I also think I see salvia might be Carradonna which is 20+ inches high.
I am not familier with any tall alliums except Purple Sensation ( just planted this year) and Globemaster (ditto) but taller they are about 40 inches high.
. Since these alliums are in seed stage I have no color clue as to which they are.
If you wanted to reproduce this look I would just be shure of height when you buy alliums.
The phlox come in 16-40 inches.
If I was starting a section like this I would combine Salvia Carradona, Allium Purple Sensation 24-30 inches and any tall phlox like Davids Lavander,Nicky both tall.

Good think its early and dark. I found another phlox allium combo Purple sensation and Woodland Phlox.

These are in bloom together but its possible to see heights .I dont know how long Woodland phlox bloom but suspect they are earlier yhan the garden phlox we are talking about.
