Shouldn't there be a page 2, 3, 4, etc?
The search engine isn't designed to return thousands of results. That's not really what it's for. It's more for narrowing down your search to a smaller set. This is why the maximum results returned is 100 plants and there is no forward button.
It may be that one day I may make another browsing tool that lets you browse by a specific attribute, but we will likely never have this advanced search go through thousands of results. The point is to narrow it down.
Anyways, when I did a new search using the 'orange' in the check-off color section, I got a totally different set of daylilies. That's odd because we are getting the color orange for that check-off section from that original color description to begin with.
This is likely because it's searching a different field and returning the first 100 it found, well, those first 100 may be different than the first 100 when searching a different field.
Narrow the search down further by selecting other options, as well, and you should start to see the same plants.
But the important thing to note here is that this "Search by characteristics" is NOT meant to be a browse-all-plants type feature, but rather a very specific and targeted search tool. Browsing by a single characteristic is something that we can add later.
