Isn't that the truth? And you can shop it out when there's a specific daylily you're looking for. I love to purchase from the hybridizers, and most of the ones I purchase from have a good selection of daylilies of other hybridizers as well as their own. I hop around the various websites and search their "General Catalog" to see if they have a daylily I'm looking for and then compare prices, and sometimes you can get a great deal. Last year I picked up BASS GIBSON from Floyd Cove and SNOW CRYSTAL from Water Mill (Trimmers) for as little as half the price others were selling them for, and in each case they sent a beautiful triple fan! And I might add that the prices for these were each well below what single fans were going for on the Lily Auction!
