Back in September 2008 I was given some pretty expensive plumerias that hadn't been cared for properly. It being so late in the year, I set out to graft as many as possible to seedlings to try to bring them back to health and survival.

Some of the seedling tops that I cut off looked especially good, so I decided to use them for practice and graft them to my big white tree. Well, the first one bloomed today (at least I discovered it today).

I think the flower's kinda nice and I'm glad I didn't toss it. Oh, and the seedling sprouted in 2007.
