Carrots have played an important role in my life, too. That's why my hair is red/orange...er, uhh, used to be! I reckon I ate so many carrots growing up I inherited the color. As recent as in my late 30's I could be seen walking around with a carrot in my back pocket, my afternoon snack. (I was working in town at the time, too, public work!)
