Once your seedlings have started to germinate, start watering/misting with chamomile tea to prevent damping off.

Damping off is a fungal disease that causes seedlings to die soon after germination. The seedlings basically rot at the soil surface. Cool, damp conditions with poor air circulation can create the perfect environment for this disease. Some plants, such as petunias and asters are more susceptible to this disease.

Make a pot of tea & steep at least 20 minutes for a strong brew. Let cool to room temperature and either water from a watering can or put in a spray bottle and mist soil surface daily.
