Thank you, Sharon and all.
The lady to whom I have been a companion for the last almost 10 years passed away this morning. She was 97, only 3 months from 98. She was in a nursing home, and I have kept Sharon updated periodically with her life (such as it was). I am okay with the fact that she is indeed in Heaven. But my own life will be a little emptier without her.
For years, she would say, "I don't know why the Lord is keeping me here on earth for so long." I would tell her every time, "He's keeping you here for me."
