Can't help much for what might be the proper container, since
I use about anything available. Like you, plastic cups, or 36 oz styrofoam
cups saved from buying drinks at the local market.

My favorite container is plastic 24 oz cottage cheese cups.

The daylily seedlings do not seem to mind what I use if it is deep enough. Big Grin
