Rolling on the floor laughing Fabulous story! Little dog is a curious fellow and it sure pays off.... those smellers do a good job.

Mine: I lived alone in an old 3 story house.... sort of split level so the top story was really only 2 1/2 stories above the ground. My bedroom was above the driveway in the back of the house and the metal trash cans were below my window (no screen). During the night I heard the trash cans rattling. I looked out the window before putting my glasses on and thought I saw a small child lifting off the lid of the can. "How can this be? My gate is locked". I put on my glasses and saw the raccoon standing on hind legs trying to lift the lid like a person would. Through my tennis shoe at it... shoe was gone in the morning.
“Don't give up too quickly"... unknown, I heard it somewhere.
