Have you ever grown form seeds before? I have done so several times. I only got wild small red flowers on small bulbs. Only 2 flowers per stem. I have some 'Papillio' that is 2 years old and looks smaller that onion sets. Maybe another year might make a difference? I have had better luck growing Clivia from seeds. The seeds have to be on the mother plant almost a year before harvesting. Very slow grower. I can see why it is so expensive.
My question; Why grow from seeds that take 3 years or more and almost always reverts to wild when you just had a sale for some of the nicest kinds for only $2 each?
