Going out to pick some chickweed now.

And the dandelion flowers and leaves ... so pretty too (weed, pfffft). The pictures in my edible wild plant ID book would rival a gourmet magazine spread. Dandelion flowers on a whole grain, open-face tuna sandwich ... garnished with a pickle, wild carrot leaves and field mustard flowers. Gorgeous. Almost looks too pretty to eat.
I garden for the pollinators.
