My understanding is that more light may help, however, I'm not a professional expert, so proceed with caution.
I have a rubber plant which has been pruned and now is putting out more branches. I didn't cut it; someone else did this before I found the plant at a church bizarre. I hope in a few weeks to start another plant from this one so that I will have more rubber plants and so that the parent plant puts out more branches.
I've read about pruning and starting from cuttings, however any more information about this is very welcome. I don't want to hurt the plant and i want to do this the correct way the first time.
I hope to be able to share pictures as soon as UI figure out why this place is the only place where I'm not able to upload pictures. I've done this many times with all sizes of files at many other sites and for some reason it doesn't work here. I'm stumped and left to wonder what the problem may be; hopefully I'll find out and will be able to show you some of my plants.
