I like to save seeds from some of mine, so I'll generally scatter those that are prone to cross-pollination as far apart as possible. Plus, I like to graze around the garden, or just pick some to savor the scent as I'm passing through, so there's more opportunity if they're all over the place.

I also agree with Tee; diversity in plantings seems to keep the garden healthier. Smiling
