Regarding the size of roots or clumps, he explains the difference between species and common or lactiflora peonies. I have purchased from him twice and now have an advance order for this fall. I am satisfied as to their quality and the way they handle customers.
The species peonies are scarce and sell out quickly so one must order early. Shipping is the typical September/early October period.
