It sounds like it would be a great undertaking for a "Master Gardener."

I just went back and read the comments following the article from my link, and they were at least as interesting as the article itself... apparently there are quite a number of public "food forests" around the country (and the world, for that matter. It would be wonderful to see this become commonplace, rather than remarkable!
