All new plants -

Plastic tag on left side of the plant, tilted so I can see the name while standing. Training lesson day one when I have a new helper!

AND

one tag underground 'just in case' which can be found when the plant gets dug up

ONLY pencil is used these days. Ask me why!

Not a lover of labels that can be seen in a garden for pics, and they are expensive when you have 1000 plants!

Guess what I am doing today? Yup writing labels for bags of seedlings. You guys got me wanted to start some indoors. A few choice ones now have wet paper towels in baggies with seeds. Bought some aluminum roasting pans for planting.

Formal beds are charted on the computer. Thank goodness some were printed out over the years for when I had computer crashes (yes with external backup which didn't help with many things). Didn't know I had lost them until I went to move and replant things last fall. Grrrrr....
