There is also an incredible picture of this tree at this link. Love the way different branches carry different color traits!! I am noticing this trait on my tree too. Very curious as to what makes some branches go all red, some white striped red, and some pink. This happens on new branches as well as old. By the way, this is an ornamental tree, to my knowledge it gets no fruit, although I did see one post where the guy said his gets fruit, but it is not edible.
