NARGS stands for North America Rock Garden Society.
Membership is $30. per year.
They hold a seed swap every year for members.
Originally it was supposed to be for alpine and rockery plants.
But people send in all sorts of seeds.
They hold the first round of distribution in January, and then excess seeds are distributed in March.
The swap is all done on line now. You donate your seeds in the fall.
There is a charge to cover postage etc.
I think it was $15 or $20 for the first 25 pkgs.
The surplus seeds are $5. for 20 pkgs.
There may only be 5 or 10 seeds to a pkg-----depending on how many other people requested that variety.
