I have enough tools. I will never buy another tool again... or, I'll try not to.

My former husband's father taught "shop" at a local high school. He was a home builder and car mechanic. He had every tool known to mankind. When he ascended my husband inherited everything. We must have had 4 of everything; table saws, routers, blades, screwdrivers, you name it. It was chaos. I couldn't find a thing and he knew where everything was. It's a guy thingy.

Anyhoo.... years later we dissolved and I moved into my little house with my screwdriver and my putty knife. First night in my new home I locked myself out of the house. I called a friend from the phone of my new neighbor (all of my belongings were locked in my new house including my cellphone). My friend came over during this VERY stormy monsoon night, assessed the scene and asked me if I had a putty knife. Several days prior I had moved my bucket of sand from my old house which included the putty knife. It was situated outside the backdoor (locked). My friend jimmied my back sliding glass door with the putty knife and saved me/us from the storm. Far as I'm concerned I have a putty knife, I'm good. I will never buy a tool again. It's cheaper for me to call my construction friends and pay them to fix something.
“Don't give up too quickly"... unknown, I heard it somewhere.
